Yep. I've done quite a bit of work to it including a glass bed job and a rangefinding 800 yard scope which was originally manufactured for that model.

There are better ones on the market, but this one is calibrated for that cartridge and that rifle.

I'm quite confident that, with that rifle, if I can see it I can hit it.

I prefer to maximize my chances, and they are gonna have to locate me first. Assault style weapons have a purpose, but if you are in range to use them effectively, the other guy is too.

I was trained on the last of the Unertl scopes, so I'm quite familiar with the concept. If I had the means to invest in Leupold scopes right now, I might do it.

But I've learned the system inherent in the SA line and it's quite satisfactory and works as advertised.
