The boy started working on a science project involving volcanoes the day Redoubt first blew it’s top.
That volcano has been very educational in his work.

He turned it in Thurs. And I know there were a couple of pictures of your little Volcano on his project board.

Now that he/she has been on a long trip, does he/she have a name yet? I bet Piper could help.

A distinct honor indeed Warrior Nurse & thank you for sharing your experience.
You have my utmost respect for your actions concerning this hero & MOH recipient!
Such an honor it must have been to hear first hand his accounts of Pearl Harbor.
May God bless you richly.
To: Warrior Nurse

Dusty is good for now. LOL! As the snow melts, the dirt, and now ash, is everywhere. I got filters today.

Glad you got those filters.
I don’t envy the garbage collectors...when Mt St Helen’s did her thing folks around Portland simply swept up the ash, put it in their garbage cans out for the garbagemen to pick up...ash is very dense/heavy evidently... so this was the source of a good number of back strains of the garbage collectors at the time.

I sure hope the tank farm dikes hold.....they have done a fantastic job so far. A tanker is due in soon to load at least some of the oil that is in a couple tanks.
I hope they can pull it all off.
