That brings up the point the this use to be just a political site. The religious seem to have started taking over. That's not a good thing in my opinion

Let them fight their religious battles on some other site. We've got the democrats and MSM to fight here.

I tell you that hatchet-wielding (hatchet as a symbol) people trying to forever sever faith from the public square have been more dangerous in annals of history than others.

Besides, I'd like for Jesus to take the wheel of my cultural priorities, too: "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him." (Luke 12:4-5)

Hence, has Jesus issued primary warnings about political opponents? (No) He says our #1 respect is to be what can happen in the afterlife.
