I have not seen any of the “the good souls that are trying to show you the way out of the darkness into the folds of true Christianity” say it is wrong to lie to prove a point.

If you google "lying for the Lord" you'll see who that practice is associated with. Very ironic that a Mormon apologist would raise this objection.

If you are waiting for someone to say it, I will. IT IS WRONG FOR ANYONE, CHRISTIAN OR MORMON, TO LIE TO PROVE A POINT. Of course, you have not yet come close to proving that any Mormon critic on this board was deliberately repeating a falsehood.
