The people, who asked not to be named because the announcement hasn’t been made, didn’t give a reason why Wagoner, 56, is leaving the job. Wagoner said March 19 that he didn’t plan to resign.

Somebody made him an offer he couldn't refuse?

Either that or Mr. Wagoner got wind of something wicked GM's way coming and decided to get the heck outta Dodge?

Glad I'm not a stockholder.

One could count on one hand the number of GM Executives who have either resigned or were fired since WII.

This is the quintessential “Good ole boys” club, with the Taxpayer footing the bill.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay on in a position where he could expect to be publicly humiliated by corrupt mental dwarfs on a regular basis and not be able to do his job as he sees fit. Next stop Galt's Gulch..

Whenever they say they won’t resign, they all seem to do so anyway.
