Free Republic is all about the free exchange of ideas, opinions and viewpoints.
As for 'Enough of the Palin-bashing', there are some Freepers who don't like her, never liked her, and will NEVER like her.
She's ok in my book, not my first choice but a damn sight better than John McInsane or any other RINO in what used to be the Party of Reagan.
I suggest FRiend, that imploring Freepers to cease and desist with bashing Sarah Palin is not unlike waving the sandwiches and snacks at a picnic out in the country and saying "you ants stay away now!"
Bashing Sarah Palin is unfortunately the right of any Freeper who dislikes her as intensely as many of us despise and did everything in our power to stop the likes of Rudy-Tooty and his ilk.
But kudos to you for standing up for her.

I doubt I’d like her half so much if she didn’t drive the Leftists mad.
Honestly, I suspect that as president she would be an accomodater like GWB. But after the scars she’s picked up over the last 9 months, maybe not.

I like Palin, and I also am tired of the constant criticism of her and her family. I hope she runs again.

I adore Sarah Palin, I admire her greatly and I consider her family. I am sick and tired of the bashing to. After all, what has she ever done to deserve this kind of treatment, some may not agree with her politically(on her views on abortion, etc) that’s fine, but bashing her family, her children, is just wrong. Her son is fighting in Iraq right now protecting OUR freedom. Sarah must be worried sick about her son, yet she has to deal not only with her son in battle, but with idiots posting and saying horrible things about her. Will she run for President, I don’t know, it’s too soon to tell if she will, but you know what, whatever she does I will support, because she is the first REAL politician I have seen in a very long time(Since Reagan, and no I’m not comparing her to Ronald Reagan, Reagan was Reagan and there will always be just ONE Ronald Wilson Reagan) she truly cares about her country, that is why she got into politics to begin with. I think if people step into her shoes for just 5 minutes and deal with all the crap that is thrown at her on a daily basis, perhaps some might reconsider their nastiness towards her and have some respect

“I have seen a lot threads in here on our friend and heroine, Sarah Palin.
Then by all means defend her.
Why must you be so intolerant when others don't agree with you? Let's not copy liberal tactics on FR by whining, complaining, vilifying those you oppose and trying to bully people into submission that may not agree with you.
Also, please stop these juvenile vanities.
Defend your "heroine", Sarah Palin on threads you don't agree with. Try being an adult about it ... .

I may not have been clear to some of you, and I apologize. Freepers have the right to criticize Sarah all they want, but to personally attack her and go with a liberal like Romney is beyond the pale. She mixes populism and conservatism very well, and for that, she may get a lot of crossover votes. But for all of those in here, be a conservative first before anything else.

Sarah's tough, she can take it. Plus she knows she has a HUGE base of supporters here in the "Lower 48" (55 for Obama).

Your anger is justified, however it is the trolls that cruise this site that attack her.
Some of these trolls are Mitt, McCain, Huckster supporters or just democrat fascists.

“Hey Sarah! Hold your head high, and you go, girl! And God be with you.” is all I’ve got to say. There are a few on FR who are in league with the RINOs.
