McCain is such a bastard. The way he handled the whole candiacy of Palin made the Republican party look like a bunch of hypocrites. He sure made the Republicans swallow a lot. Now he comes out with this? It figures. The man can do no right. I have a feeling he didn’t know about Bristol’s pregnancy. And then he makes a laughing stock out of the Republicans with that phony story the kids were going to get married and therefore anyone with an opinion that maybe this wasn’t a good idea to put on national stage with the party of family values, those people were demonized. Thanks John McCain. I love the decision to arrogantly decided too to dress up Palin with all the campaign donations. McCain was a real creep. He did plenty to cause the Republican Party trouble for years to come. All because he is a sore loser to Bush. He should be voted out of office!

A Navy pilot, defending his country in a time of war, spends 7 years in the hell-hole of a Vietnam prison and he's "such a bastard"? Meanwhile, the fratboy (who is suspected of missing a lot of his assigned Air Guard drills), admittedly "partied it up" on the weekends even to the effect of getting pulled for DUI, and spends the last two years of his Reserve Component time (that he swore would be to Texas) in Alabama politicing is your kind of hero?

It was George W. Bush who made the laughing stock out of the Republican Party with the sky-high spending bills his veto pen never touched. It was Bush that the American electorate voted against, not McCain, and it IS Bush that we now have Obama in the Oval Office.

If John McCain is a "bastard" then Bush is the biggest S.O.B. this nation has ever known...

You made a good point. I agreed with you completely before Bush was elected President. I tried to warn people. But then I gave Bush the benefit of the doubt. Now it turns out that all Bush did was run a war, he forgot that he had a country to run and to not allow it to be run into the ground financially. Bush highlighted the fact that we shouldn’t be making excuses for our political leaders. No one owes anyone and it is up to those would be leaders to prove themselves worthy.

Yes, it was tragic that McCain spent all those years in a North Vietnamese prison camp.

However, it is no excuse for sedition or treason

McCain has been one of the prime movers in the loss of National Soverignty. His support of illegal aliens over American citizens is sickening....and his valuing of Free Trade/Globalism over the American economy is totally destructive

His immigration bill proposed the elimination of the US as we know it...by promoting the North American Union...and was also involved in doing away with the US currency...replacing it with the “Amero” (It was all in the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill)

I have problems with someone who, after spending years in a communist prison camp....supported by the Communist Chinese (who were active in North Vietnam during the Vietnam War)...would be so active to promote and support wealth-redistributing trade deals with the same Communist Chinese who held him captive for so long
