I didn’t think Sarah was awful in the debate - I thought she held her own quite well.

I know Couric edited Sarah to make her look bad asking the same question over and over and over to try to get a gotcha moment and now Couric has an award for this for great journalism. BARF. Gibson clearly disregarded Sarah. I think Sarah got angry that journalism isn’t journalism anymore and she let this get to her.

We had 8 years of the media trashing Repubicans - taking our safety and prosperity for granted - and given that we can surprisingly close.

I thought she was so bad it was painful.

I know Couric edited Sarah to make her look bad asking the same question over and over and over to try to get a gotcha moment and now Couric has an award for this for great journalism.

There were plenty of uninterrupted segments where Sarah was plainly bad. Like the discussion of Roe and the SCOTUS. She was pathetically bad.

BARF. Gibson clearly disregarded Sarah. I think Sarah got angry that journalism isn’t journalism anymore and she let this get to her.

Well then shame on her for not knowing what she was getting into.

We had 8 years of the media trashing Repubicans - taking our safety and prosperity for granted - and given that we can surprisingly close.

Phony prosperity. And two wars that rolled on with no end in sight. The GOP overpromised, underdelivered, and paid the price for it.

Sarah should have put Gibson in the tough spot. The interview should have been done during one of Todd's races out in the freezing cold with Gibson in light weather wear. It would have made him look uncomfortable etc. Instead we had Palin sitting in a short chair with Charlie looking down at her. Same for Couric. Why the McCain campaign felt Palin had to kiss the feet of these idiots is beyond me. Obama ducked interviews and lied when he did give interviews and the press never called him on one lie!

As to the debate, plugs didn't know the order of constitutional provisions for what office, eats at a diner closed for ten years and had about 22 errors during the debate. Palin was correct on most issues and replies.

Sarah got angry because of the basic unfairness of it all. And she is right to be angry, it was blatant and ridiculous.

I do believe that running against the media, against their bias and unfairness is a winning approach, along with fiscal sanity and economic growth. Look, it is now becoming obvious that the media failed in not vetting the Obamanation and we are stuck with this light weight for 4 years. By making that the issue, she can neutralize them and force them to be on the defensive.

How about: "look, the MSM gave us the Obamanation because they would not do their job, at least listen to what I have to say", that will ring true with a LOT of voters.
