I imagine the greatest conservative threat would be casualties caused by our snipers falling out of trees with laghter watching the pantywaists trying to get around in the sticks.
I remember on FR some years ago a man who worked (or knew someone who worked - can’t remember) in a prison in the NE woods somewhere, commented that urban street thugs and gang members in that prison - big tough guys, right - were terrified of the forest and would ask in quavering voices if there were Bears in the Woods... THey were told that the woods were stuffed with bears.
