Your post and this entire thread are disgusting. How this is "Poetic justice" in any way defies all humanity and shames you.

Thank you, Deb. I was raised a Roman Catholic, and I totally reject the brand of "Christianity" espoused by people who think the way the author of that piece does. Christ's predominant message was to love one another; to be charitable, kind and merciful. It was the very antithesis of the kind of cruelty demonstrated in the article and by many on this thread (and far too many other threads on FR these days).

I forcefully reject the notion that a God of love and mercy would wipe out so many innocent lives just to make some indirect point to another person.

Again...I never said this was Poetic Justice..

I said GOD can take trajedy, all trajedy’s and can make them a blessing...No I do not believe GOD made the plane crash, however it did..What is the message??? Maybe the trjaedy of Abortion the loss of life.....

PSLAMS 23:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Where is the Sting of Death?

I am also raised Roman Catholic and agree that God calls to us love one another. That doesn't negate the fact that there are those who don't follow His commandments and will be judged accordingly. I feel very sorry for "Bud" Feldkamp. This story is very ironic. I don't have a problem with being reminded who we are accountable to.

This issue seems to be coming up a lot lately.

"Make no mistake. We shall all pass through the fire; some to destruction and others to a purified life, by which we will be able to make acceptable sacrifices to God . . . in righteousness. God deserves the best, and he is determined to get it. Fire is the means. Purification is the desired effect. The revelation of God's splendor is the end." http://illuminatrium.blogspot.com/2008/03/we-will-all-pass-through-fire.html
