Of course, Anita was ruined, scorned and was forced to retire by the public and the MSM.
_________

Gosh, when I read the story of Anita’s demise back in the day, I immediately assumed it was God’s will. Now, reading this thread, I’m sure of it. {/minor sarcasm}

I find it deeply interesting how some stories are clearly lessons (according to some on this forum) from God, while others (like Anita’s story) are simply the MSM bringing someone down.

How do we mere humans have the capacity to understand which story is an expression of God’s will and which ones are just dumb luck? The answer (IMO) is which story can I twist to fit my preconceived notions. You do it, I do it, we all do it.

Doesn’t make it true, though.

While we cannot control all germs and still become sick or infected from time to time, we as a society have learned that germs cause infection, and as a result of sanitation and medication, we have nearly doubled the lifespan in a century.

By the same token, regular and disciplined study of the scriptures and meditative prayer cannot explain everything clearly, it can improve the degree of understanding.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. -- Romans 10:17

"...lean not unto thine own understanding...." -- Proverbs 3. Click here.
