What a maroon.
The ratio of Canadians in the military to its population is about the same as ours. Canada’s defense forces are a part of ours. And Canadians, per man, have volunteered for rougher areas for tours (real combat work) and have performed better than those of other allies (except, perhaps for Australia—another great ally).

The ratio of Canadians in the military to its population is about the same as ours. Since they are a smaller country shouldn't their ratio be much higher?
Isn't our active military about 22 times larger than theirs?
