Ah, that's different. If that's the case, then you'd be cutting back no matter who your mother supported. That's a far cry from the "I'm gonna punish Mom because she voted for Obama" that I apparently misread in your original post.

I don't think you misread although I do appreciate the kindness in suggesting so :-). It is somewhat a mixed bag as I am going to cut back (that part is innocuous) the other part though is that she and my family are going to be told why.

Of course with my conservative family we will also talk about money and how we are going to protect ourselves, but the difference is it won't be controversial as they didn't have a hand in the why. Whereas Mom and the rest of my family will think I am punishing them when really they will be seeing and hearing about the results of their actions.

I think it is a thin line, but a line nonetheless in that liberals need to see what their class envy and hate gets them in reality. Is this punishment or is it just the facts ma'am? I guess only John Galt can answer that. LOL. Thanks for the posts and input.

I did forget to address the changing of the will. That part is clearly questionable. Is there resentment involved? Yes. Also though there is a realization. These people hate me. They hate wealthy. They think it is bad and evil. They think I should be taxed way more than they. Why should people that hate wealth so badly and think it is evil be given such money upon a family members death? Or even in the will as such? It became clear to me that God is more important and my money should go to do His work.

It is also clear our country needs as much support as possible to protect Her constitution and her founding values. I want very much for my life earnings to go to the long term growth of our nation as a free and Godly nation more so than I want a bunch of liberal wealthy haters to receive my wealth. That is all.
