I’m a firm believer that family is the most important thing in the world. I couldn’t trust a man who politics above family.

Even if your grandkids joined the Hitlerjugend or ratted out their parents to the Soviet state for keeping a Bible?

Things are not that dire...yet. But Obama's term will not be good for America and the people in his corner have loathed this nation for 40+ years. They used to riot in the streets and agitate on campuses. Now they run the DNC and anchor the nightly news.

I don't believe what comes out of their mouths any more than I would the words of Stalinists. To too many Americans, Code Pink is a "misguided" peace movement. They are Communist stooges who have crossed the line of "peaceful" protest with their stalking of Republican politicos using forged access badges (didn't they attempt to handcuff Condi Rice?).

I agree to a certain extent. There comes a time when you have to draw the line with kids. They need to see the consequences of their actions and, while I would never withhold love or basic support, I might not be as generous.

My parents are very conservative and the most generous people I know. Between we 7 kids, you wouldn’t believe the things that they do to help us at one time or another. And, although I do think they are more pleased with we kids that turned out conservative, they are no strings attached to their support.

They love us all and I have to say they put up with a heckuvalot more than I would. Honestly, some days, I don’t know how they do it. My eldest bother is as far left as they come. He is a self-described Marxist. He is constantly railing against evil business, the military etc.....................................as he lives under my PARENTS’ roof off the money my dad earned as a retired AF officer and, then, small business owner! For the life of me, I can’t see how this 44-year-old man — a National Merit Scholar — cannot grasp the irony of his situation! My parents are saints.

Family is so important but not to the extend I would not do everything I could to keep my children from hurting others. Liberalism hurts others. You don’t abandon family because of politics but you don’t have to accept it.

Truth and Freedom are the most important.

I teach my children that right now. Hopefully it will stick.

May my posterity forget I ever existed if I don’t fight for freedom.
