Yep, I lived a hop, skip and a jump from Oakland (San Leandro) for about three years. There aren’t to many Mexicans to be found in Oakland.

Hispanics aren't the largest ethnic group in Oakland but there are plenty of them to be found there. According to local census data the Hispanic population is over 20% for the city.
