I have. Worked in the downtown area for approx 12 yrs 80-92. Day shift was usually ok but evenings and nights were whole different matter. There were at least 5 women in the office who carried and I am sure they didn't have any CCW. I did also on those shifts. Too dangerous going to your car.
I cannot imagine walking around there at night without some sort of protection.
