I think those stubby joshua trees are cute...
Granted there are things to like (Joshuas, lack of mosquitoes, 70F summer evenings, the smell when it rains..) but the general landscape isn’t one of them. Not for me, anyway. Throughout much of the western Antelope Valley the Joshuas have been bulldozed anyway.
