Boone Pickens want the govt to build the transmission lines. otherwise to expensive.
Coal and nuclear for “base load” and nat gas for the “peak” times.
Wind and Solar will never add up to much of the output.
building coal to diesel plants in coal producing states
Amen
Just make the damn electricity, don’t charge too much for it or do it in a way that anyone, anywhere might ever find in any way offensive. What’s so hard about that?
That IS the bottom line.
BOHICA
If we have no power, then many people will lose their jobs and become impovershed. Senator Feinstein and her “war profiteering” husband who owns not one, but two defense contracting companies, and got very lucrative contracts while she was the CHAIRPERSON of the Military Appropriations Subcommittee(but never saw the need to recuse herself), can buy their properties and expand their estate.
In addition, Senator Feinstein does not want to spoil the desert view just to provide affordable electricity to the masses, many of them who work with their hands(eeew!). A rich woman causes brown outs and black outs due to an overstrained power grid, causes working class people to go broke paying their electric bills, buys their foreclosed homes, expands her estate, and then demands civil rights for all Americans, NOW!
This woman is an unbearable marxist despot, and a very wealthy one, at that.
