He’s just saying what the Democrats think of the disabled.
They often say things like, “Well, winning a Republican Primary is like winning the Special Olympics — you're still Retarded”
They say things like that all the time.
Now, the term “tard” comes up here, in FR, allot.
I prefer terms like “idiot” “moron” “stupid” etc. -— and I sure don't want to be part of the “politically correct” crowd.
But I think we can drill this home on Obama. He went on Leno looking for “goodwill” looking to extend his “honeymoon” and he made an ass of himself.
For pure political purposes, I would ask that conservatives be careful with the words “tard” and “retard” and other such jokes for awhile.
I think Obama will get roasted for this, and we don't want to look like hypocrites. Most Social Workers are Democrats. Many who work in charities and support groups for the disabled are Democrats. Obama just managed to tick off part of his own base. It is not surprising. Watch "Comedy Central" when any Black comedian is on. They make jokes about the disabled all the time, because THEY can get away with it. This was Obama and his "Chicago Street" thug personality blended with his "Harvard Snob" personality. Both personalities will rub the wrong way, with MANY people.
