When pot is legalized we will see old hippie potheads being hauled off to jail in his place. I wonder what their nicknames will be...Pothead? Dopehead? Hacking Hal?John "Cheetos" Doe, he was busted when the Feds followed the cheez-dust trail back to his hideout.

"There a guy hereabouts who can make white liquor. Its something around 170 proof and does a great job on paint brushes." If he's only getting 170 proof then he's doing something wrong. You should be able to produce 195 proof on the second run if you are doing it right. Then you cut that 50% with water and your favorite flavoring to protect your liver.

My first husband & I went to visit his family in Tennessee one year, and every home we went to they offered up their own shine (with the comment that this is better than ole so-n-so’s).
Most of it was pretty good. I liked the charcoal stuff best.

Back in my boozin’ days some guy bought some up from somewhere down south, I actually thought the stuff was fantastic. I was surprised how smooth it was. White Lighting I mean, although I enjoy popping corn too.

Illicit stills threaten two streams of government revenue - sin taxes and fuel taxes (the latter to soon be supplemented substantially as to reflect carbon emissions costs). Dual brigades of the morality police (enviros and the usual busybodies), in addition to the revenue collectors, have dogs in this fight.

"Most of it was pretty good. I liked the charcoal stuff best." filtering it through charcoal takes the edge off, makes it a little smoother.
Legal whiskey distillers "age" their liquor in hardwood barrels, Cherry, etc)that are burned on the inside. Thats what gives it that smoothness ( like JB)and color.

Not sure if he has the proper equipment to measure proof but it smells like Everclear. There was a Parmesan cheese plant in Minnesota I used to call on that produced about 20,000 gallons/day of near 200 proof alcohol. It was odorless but had a very strong Spearmint taste. I think they’re selling it into the ethanol market now.

Poor guy was persecuted for making alternative fuels.
To: Ditter
"I thought we could make it we just couldnt sell it." You can if you get a distilling license. But you may as well become a distilling company by the time you jump through all the hoops and regulations and fee's, build your still according regulations, open your doors to inspections etc.

Rest easy and in the company of plenty of kin, cousin.

filtering it through charcoal takes the edge off, makes it a little smoother. And smooth it was. We brought several jars back home with us & I got plum snockered on that stuff!
