James Hansen, a climate modeller with Nasa, told the Guardian today that corporate lobbying has undermined democratic attempts to curb carbon pollution. “The democratic process doesn’t quite seem to be working,” he said.
Duh, Mr Hansen that is the democratic process. .Not eveyone agrees with you. Get it yet???
Democracy “not working”? Hmmm, does this mean we can then resort to just brute tyranny to impose what we want?
These people have gone from just being wrong to being evil.
Of course the whole global warming thing is designed to create an excuse to ditch democracy and impose socialism.
A global tyranny with climate scientists in charge is Hansen’s goal.

What a moron, all the large corps have adopted the global warming scam. GE, Exxon/mobil etc all support his goals, yet they still can’t win.
Reminds me of “The Road to Serfdom,” where Hayek talks about how the “experts” in society are often those most supportive of totalitarian regimes (run by them) - the democratic process is just too inefficient.
