Out of curiosity, do you support the government intervention that has taken place?

When it was done, I was against it, because the announced purpose was to buy "toxic" assets, which I didn't see how the government could do without subverting the free economy.

I am in favor of what the government ended up doing, injecting capital into the banks, which would have to happen anyway because of existing commitments through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Sallie Mae.

I believe in honoring one's financial commitments. Apparently in your case "it depends".
