birth anouncements in newspapers are whatever is submitted to be published

parents whom wanted to spare their embarrassment with their unmarried pregnant daughter by identifying her as married to the father of the child, for example

The announcements were submitted directly from the Honolulu Dept. of Health to the newspapers.

I cannot recall if anyone ever checked that birth announcement address with residence records on the Dunhams

The Honolulu Advertiser reported that records (most likely phone records) show that the Dunham grandparents lived at a different address. The UH student directory also listed Obama, Sr. at a different address. There's no independent record (phone or otherwise) as far as anyone knows, that Obama and Ann Dunham ever lived at the address on the birth announcement, but that doesn't prove that Obama wasn't born in Hawaii.

If the newspaper announcement isnt a photoshop, you have 2 birth announcements in hawaii for a male child born on the correct date with the correct parents printed in 1961. Quibbling about an address isnt a very strong argument.

I believe my original point was that a newspaper birth announcement is slim to no proof that he was born in Hawaii, or born by that name. The small fact that no one in the family is confirmed to have lived at the address shown in the birth announcement ... is odd?

Odd on top of odd on top of odd.... Thats the entire sordid escapade with this dysfunctional family

Whatever he is hiding is known to intelligence services of hostile nations, I am sure

That alone should force the US govt to demand transparency, or risk a president vulnerable to blackmail

Maya Soetero also has a Hawaii certificate of live birth? Yet no dispute she was born in Indonesia.
