My high school used to be surrounded by tobacco farms. I worked on one one summer. Some years ago the state paid farmers to turn their land into other businesses.

My friends and I had to walk 3 miles up hill both ways to buy a bottle of M/D 20/20 or a 6 of National Bohemian. These kids today now have a very nice vineyard and winery a mile away.

My friends and I had to walk 3 miles up hill both ways(and in 3 foot snow drifts in the winter and 130 degree heat in the summer, without shoes) to buy a bottle of M/D 20/20 or a 6 of National Bohemian. These kids today now have a very nice vineyard and winery a mile away.

I fixed it for you, I remember those walks!
