To be honest, I’ve followed M Steele’s career since he was Maryland’s Lt Gov, he has always been conservative even to the point he knew it would harm his election chances in the Senate race, this turn is more then likely a focus group bit of nonsense that consultants came up with.
He’s typically a sharp guy, and I’m just as surprised as anyone else that he took that head scratching turn, and to me there is more to the story.
