Their national goal for 2010 is to engage 75 million Americans in volunteering. That's about 1/4 of the entire population! Does that make sense to you? The US Census indicates that about 13% of the population have income below the poverty level, so why do we need so many people to help such a small minority? It's not about helping the needy, it's all about power and control.

Power and control that's it. Power and control is ONLY what motivates BHO. He will do anything to get it and keep it.

Yes. I understand it the same as you the 75 million by 2010 based on a population of 300 million that is 25% of US population. It is stunning.
Look what BHO is doing today. Same old same old mode-Lying, distracting, manipulating. He is talking about "tax cuts for Small Business or some other lie."

He wants to present a posture that he is really "business friendly" all the while knowing what he has already accomplished with the Porkulus/Spendulus/OmniBus trainwreck, and all the while knowing he has McCain in his pocket on H.R. 1388 to "push it through."

Have you seen any costs estimates listed on the CBO yet? I haven't seen and cost estimates except for one post on this thread but I wasn't sure of the source.
