Huh? It shouldn’t matter who is charge. If the republicans used it then the Rats would eventually get their hands on it.
I serve in the military...I don’t want peole fighting with me who don’t want to be there. I’d rather have 5 true volunteers than 100 non-volunteers.
There is no doubt that the socialists in charge would use volunteers to destroy our democracy.
But from the other direction, isn't the same thing happening by our culture turning into a "me first", "honor is for suckers" attitude. You constantly read about people lying and cheating to get benefits or avoid taxes.
The number of givers is decreasing while the number of takers is increasing. An honest days pay for an honest days work is a joke, everybody is trying to screw everybody else out of something.
Not everyone has the heart to serve in the military, but I believe that sometime in their life they should give back for the privilege of living in the greatest country in the world.
