No, they didn’t.
That has been my screaming point from the beginning with this mess.
The Nazi’s didn’t walk into Berlin and start rounding up Jews. There was about a four year difference between Hitler taking power and the jews being sent to concentration camps. Then it was another 2 years until the genocide began. And even then no one knew it was happening. People were being fed the line that they were just taking the jews to “work camps”.
There is a misunderstanding of how Hitler happened and we think if someone doesn’t just swoop down and start murdering then it isn’t happening or can’t happen.
Stay out of states that have legal assisted suicide laws because people cannot change their mind or those in charge may be corrupt (what are the chances?)
