I loooove the Caribbean...but there is no place to go with the opportunities that are here (well so far). The places you mention would be great if you are already financially secure.
But this is our country and I don't want to have to leave because commies have taken over let alone give it to them.

Some of them are inexpensive and housing is very affordable. If you weren’t financially secure you could always sell your home here, rent a house there if it becomes intolerable. The Cubans left with just the shirt on their back. It was that intolerable. They risked their lives on the open Atlantic to flee the tyranny. Many of them lost their lives.
