Conservatives are so aghast at the huge spending going on in Washington and the $1.75 trillion deficit (13 percent of our gross domestic product) it is causing them to overlook an even more basic question about the president: Is he competent? Does he know what he is doing?
To be specific: Does he know how to do anything other than spend money? His stimulus package, of course, took no special ability. He left the details of the projects up to the House Democrats, who are more than willing to fill in the blanks. But his two other major initiatives -- his banking and mortgage relief plans -- are both flawed and highly unlikely to solve their respective problems. Indeed, they are so wide of the mark that one has to ask if Obama is not only a radical but also an incompetent.
The bank bailout plan seems to be largely stillborn. Having wished that the private sector would flock to invest in toxic assets if they are offered the right incentives, the treasury secretary is still hoping. Crossing his fingers seems to have replaced effective policy in his planning. To date, no massive infusion of private sector capital seems in view, and Washington is doing little more than writing checks on its overdrawn account to prop up the failing banks. That doesn't take a genius. But the difficult task of relieving the banks of toxic assets so they can rekindle the flow of loans seems to be beyond the ability of the president and his administration.
But conservatives can dismiss the utter failure of Obama's bank rescue plan, saying that he doesn't really want it to succeed. He probably wants to nationalize the banks -- and never let them go.

Obama does know what he is doing. He is doing what Democrats do best. Spend, complain and blame Bush for their failures.
This should not be a surprised to anyone, it was forewarned during the election.
The reason why BiBacock wants to get rid of the term ENEMY COMBATANT because he and his fellow democrats will soon be viewed as one by the American People.
Does he KNOW what he’s doing? YES....and NO! I think he will be surprised by the results of what he’s doing though. Perhaps, in the end, it will cause him to bend his knee to the Lord.
By our standards, no he does not know what he’s doing. But by his and the dims standards he is doing just what they want, destroy this country. In that case, he does know what he’s doing.
Maybe, but I predict a darker, self-induced end for this one.
Let us see. All in one month the President and Democrats reinstated unnecessary harvesting of stem cells to support the abortion culture of death, insulted our allies, apologized to the Taliban, doubled the national debt, quadrupled the deficit, and killed the national economy. What is next?
With God, all things are possible. It will fully be Obama’s free choice....to accept Him ...or not.

I wouldn’t be surprised. People with actually ADHD (not just six year olds with a lot of energy), actually diagnosable ADHD, when there brains develop they have certain parts of their brain develop at slower/faster rates.
The part of the brain that process speech develops at a quicker rate than the brain. (OBama’s ability to speak well, at least on a TelePrompter anyway could come from that).
Also, parts of the brain (the lining of it) that don’t develop is the front part of the brain (frontal lobe, also called the executive function) as quickly (or in the case of adults the fact that the delay is caused has permanent effects) and cause that person to exhibit hasty or seemly thought out speech/actions. Causes a lot of Foot in mouth syndrome.

That’s just it, Obama never was engaged in the issue, yet he claims questions ‘kept coming up’, and the Biden earlier posted comment shows Obama questions weren’t ‘coming up’ in the Senate at that time.
Comments about Obama being ‘intellectual’ and ‘thoughtful’ are void of reality. Obama embellished, lied.

But if they are always in fear of being punished, it may become a habit, which is a second reason for lying. In this case, it may become compulsive lying, which is lying by reflex. Even when confronted by the truth, they insist the lie is the truth in this case.
A third case is learning to lie through modeling. When a people see others lie, especially when they get away with it, they may become more prone to lying.
Finally, people lie because they feel if they tell the truth they won’t get what they want. Thus, out of the main reasons for lying, only lying by habit can truly be called “compulsive lying.”
Increased lying has been seen with a number of psychiatric diagnoses such as ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. With ADHD people will often say “I don’t know why I did that”, and when confronted about why they lied, their answer will be the same.
ADHD children also display impulsivity, and they may lie implusively. Bipolar Disorder can be associated with low serotonin levels, which has been implicated in impulsivity, which, as indicated before, makes a person more prone to lie.

'Does Obama Know What He Is Doing?'Yes.
I’ve been saying since last Spring, he can’t vote “present” from the Oval Office. The mouth breathing droolers who voted for this clown quickly became hopium addicts.
We were doomed when the left manipulated the GOP primaries to put McLame on top of our ticket.
I don’t think they know what they are doing. Democrats do not live in reality, they live in theory. The only plan they EVER have it so throw money at it. Unfortunately, the American sheeple have given the Dems the whole shabang, no more checks and balances.
The Democrats still will throw the Clinton years in your face, what they never mention is that Clinton had a Republican congress that kept him on a short leash.
The correct question is: “Does President Imanuel know what he’s doing?”
