While I like “Monday Monday”, “California Dreaming” is still my favorite after 43 years. It’s done in a straightforward D minor with no frills. And Lou Adler’s work as producer makes it all come together.

I hate Monday, I have always hated Monday. Nothing ever good happens to me on Monday. As of 15 May, I have three years until I can retire, if the bottom does not fall out of course.
If I retire, I plan to cancel Monday and just go to Sunday 2.
Sunday 2 will be followed by Tuesday.
That’s the plan.
