Not sure what Victor's point is here. Had Obama actually made this speech, say in the last debate, or maybe right after Bush got the first $350 Billion TARP bill passed, how many Obama supporters would have changed their minds, to vote for McCain?

I think that number is miniscule. People were flat tired of Bush, and didn't want McCain starting up a 3rd Bush term. Almost all of Obama's supporters clearly know nothing of history, or economics, or law, or freedom, or American excellence, and were going to vote for Obama no matter what.
