Doing these debates in Religion brings to play some doctrinal stuff that inhibits both.
Since our solar system may merely be the "special creation" of some other group of critters in our own galaxy, or galactic cluster, which would definitely be "news" under any standard, it's probably best left in "news" and out of "religion".
