The article said — “Our economic problems are enormously serious more serious than is publicly disclosed. And I think we’re on the brink of a depression,” he told reporters at the state Capitol.

Ummmm..., that’s not true, according to many FReepers that have been posting to me that the economy is just fine and it’s just an MSM trick to make people think that there is something wrong...
Usually, I’m told this when I say that we’re in the Great Depression and that it will deepen throughout 2009 and maybe into 2010. I’m told that I’m listening to false reports in the MSM. It’s not true...

Pray tell, Mr. Sphincter how billions in pork, and billions in dollars that won’t be spent for a few years is going to head off a depression. I’d like to know from which economic school this theory was derived.

Thanks for helping the economy decline with the Porkulus bill and strapping us with more debt and looming inflation.

“On the brink...” he says. Is it time yet to recognize the 1930s depression yet?

Depression huh?? The only think I’m depressed about is that Arlen Spector won’t sit down and STFU...
I wonder about Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvanians in paricular, who keep sending asshats like Specter and Murtha back to Congress over and over again. If you are proud of the two of them, then it must suck to be you.

“there’s a “reasonable chance” that the $787 billion economic stimulus package will help ease the situation”
I don´t know about the rest of you, but I would want more than a “reasonable chance” on a $787 billion dollar investment.

As a member of the PUBLIC, I am tired of being lied to and being kept in the dark by a bunch of Poly Sci majors on steroids. Get the hell out of Washington you loser (Spincter) and our lives will improve drastically. Oh, and take the rest of your Democrat monkeys with you!
