Your entire post negates natural law and what the Founders called self-evident truth: That our right to life comes from our Creator, and that the protection of such is the very purpose of government.

Thatt’s the Stephen A. Douglas Democrat, Gerald R. Ford Republican, position, which the polar opposite of the Reagan pro-life plank that to this day remains in the Republican Party platform, even though Republican leaders completely abrogate it en masse.

That’s my point!

The people of today’s country have lost SIGHT of natural law and the intentions of our Founders! Why do you think we have Barack Obama in the White House?!

Your position of ideological purity is fine and dandy, but the states’ rights position of overturning Roe v. Wade will result in LESS abortions, FASTER. AND IT DOES NOT EXCLUDE RETURNING TO A PREDOMINANT VIEW OF NATURAL LAW, AS IT SHOULD BE.

What don’t you get about that? We currently have people excepting of the idea that we can be judge, jury, and executioner of the unborn. It’s an idea backed up by decades of liberal indoctrination!

Until we can fix that, your position of ideological purity on this matter will change NOTHING. And more unborn babies will die.

Pro-Life is Pro-Life. I’m not going to exclude someone who pursues overturning Roe v. Wade to let the states decide as being pro-choice. It’s ridiculous and counterproductive.
