Why?
Pending insolvency of FDIC and fear of bank “holiday.” It may get inflated away, but there is nothing I can do about that. However, I CAN controll my access to it.
If and when things settle down, I can always re-deposit. Besides, it’s not like I’ll be losing anything much given the current dividend (intetrest) rates.
Still keeping my checking acct. (though greatly reduced) for operating funds and direct deposits.
Also, I don’t want to be last in line.
