Don’t want to get into my Catholic religious upbringing. Someone just posted an ugly thread complaining about all the ‘Catholic threads’ here. It’s getting a lot of replies!

Don't let anyone keep you from speaking what's on your Catholic mind. Remember, Maryland was settled by Catholics trying to get away from England's Anglican-Protestantism. The only reason people get offended by Catholicism is because it's the major religion that protagonists have been trying to discredit since 33 AD, and their chosen religion is not. A little religion-envy can go a long way for some people.

If they ask you "why Catholic" refer them here.

No, I am not afraid to speak up on issues about my religion. I just don’t like to be the instigator of a quarrelsome debate.

But I WILL respond when people speak lies.
