As I recall, the Secret Service went around and knocked on a few Freeper doors during the Whitewater years.
I trust this forum not to release our names, but some Freepers are not very cautious about that, either.
The basic rule should be don’t joke about bombs in an airport, and don’t joke about political assassinations on the web.
It was OK for leftists to hope that George Bush would die. Bush was a decent guy, and under his presidency the Secret Service simply did its job.
But clinton used to send the SS around to drag people in to jail for a day just for thumbing their noses at him, and I’m sure Obama will be much, much worse.
Also, because he’s black, they seem to be much more paranoid about security. Just look at the measures that were taken in DC during the inauguration.

EVERYTHING on ALL electronic/electrical communications has been monitored by massive acres of computers against a massive keyword list since at least 1970 . . . 39 years.
The main reason folks would query JimRob about the IP address is that it might be easier for some factions of government than to ask other factions of government . . . errrr . . . of the oligarchy.
We have had a FREEPER recently note that he was personally involved in helping route massive fiber optic inputs through the . . . geographic areas involved in such monnitoring. He was essentially saying that EVERYONE’s lines in the whole country now went through that one geographic area.
What he did not note was that there are several backup areas. . . . each with acres of computers.
Most of this is public knowledge now . . . available documented in several places on the net.
