You misunderstand the gift. Nothing additional was given with the package of DVDs. Why? because this was a gift for this occasion and many future occasions all given in advance. In truth, he would normally give one DVD per event (like Christmas or birthdays). Then over the course of 8 years, Brown could expect to receive the entire set!

But since Britain needs a stimulus too, he gave all of the gifts at once and in advance!
