I feel like calling 911 just smelling McDonalds. I suppose if I ever have grandkids I’ll have to suck it up and go.
This woman had a crime committed against her. Though calling 911 may have been a bit much, it’s the only number advertised for POLICE anymore.
Was she just supposed to walk away and let them get away with taking her money for a product she didn’t want?
According to a bunch of clymers on this thread and the lying PD, yes. She's just an unworthy obamanation. Unless the PD can show FL statute 812.014 (aka theft) no longer existed at the time they gave her that bogus citation, they should be sued for harrassment and more. Their citations of the statutes is also bad. The statute they tried several times to cite, but got wrong each time was 365.172(13).
