People need to have HEFTY fines slapped on them for such asinine 911 calls. Something like $500 a pop ought to make people stop and think for a second or two.
Explain what's assinine about it genius. 911 is the number used to call the PD. Is it that the crime of petty theft doesn't apply here, because this woman's somehow unworthy? Is she less worthy of police backup and intervention than McY D's is? What do you do when someone takes your money and won't give you exactly what you paid for, or your money back? Pull a gun and threten them to give your $s back? Walk away? ...or do you dial 911 like the f'n store would if you grabbed $6 out of the register and walked?
