Steele called Limbaugh “a very valuable conservative voice for our party. I believe that Rush will, in all likelihood, accept the apology; and if that's the case, so shall I.
I maintain high hopes for Steele, and I'll bet that he makes no such errors re Rush (or us) in the future.

Yes, I think Steele was maybe caught off guard. Live and learn, and hopefully, he’ll be more careful next time. The moral of the story for Steele is to never underestimate the deviousness of a lefty interviewer.

Actually, I wasn't any more offended by Steele's stumble than I am at any Pub who snaps at the bait to be "conciliatory" or "collegial."
I think Steele should learn not to take the bait. Maybe now, he has!

Please let’s treat this like Sarah Palin’s subpar interview with Couric. As most of us were disgusted that Sarah was made out by the MSM to be a moron on the basis of one interview let us not judge Steele based on this one episode. But he’s definitely now on notice but let’s not desert him now.

It is not to get along with democrats!
It is to articulate the Republican message and defeat democrats at every turn!

Steele should already know. We don’t have time for learning on the job. He ran because he said he was the best man for the position. If he’s not, he needs to step aside.
