Just make sure your ‘Money Market’ is bullet proof. A lot of these things contain Commercial Paper and other Short Term obligations of what S & P/Moody's rate AAA - And we all know what their ratings really mean.

Currently the us govt has guaranteed all money market funds until 12-31-09.

Of course, the big O could reverse that.

And there is an incredible amount of risky paper in most money market funds which is why the govt guaranteed them to stop a run on them last fall.
