Is there such a term as "de-RINOing" the Republican party?

Arlan, if you (and educated Pennsylvanians) are reading this, you have got to go, period.

Surprised they would even invite Cantor on their show. I never though he was their kind of Republican.

Leave it to Stephanopoulos to make a big deal out of a minor disagreement between conservatives.

I’m not surprised, he was very tepid on with Hannity after Obama’s speech Tuesday night. I commented on it at the time on the SOTU thread and people were quick to remind me that Cantor is a great conservative. It seems to me ALL Republican’s but Limbaugh are afraid of Obama.

What we got here is failure to communicate.

i>"There is no question the Republican Party has to return to be one of inclusion, not exclusion," Cantor said when I asked him if he was willing to move the party to the middle on issues like the environment and gay rights.

This from a guy with a 100 ACU rating. Either the ACU has it all wrong or this guy Cantor is going RINO.

As that reads, Stephanie didn't put Rush's comments into perspective before asking Cantor that question.

That said, if Cantor really wants Obama to eliminate the capitalistic system and hopes he succeeds, kiss his ass goodbye as far as I am concerned. Good riddance.

Cantor’s wrong, Rush is right. I wonder how many more will be weeded out by responding to Rush’s speech at CPAC...

Cantor: “I don’t think anyone wants anything to fail right now.”

Speak for yourself, Mr. Cantor.

Here is one that wants to see any unconstitutional, gargantuan, federal spending bill fail.

And I also want to see the shuck-and-jive Marxist president we have who is pushing this stuff fail, just as Rush so eloquently put it.

Real headline: Cantor deflects mis-leading question by liberal in MSM.

Reality is Rush said the same as Cantor.
They want people to succeed and they want real solutions to the problems at hand.

............would you want him to succeed, or fail?

Let Cantor respond anyway he deems necessary. The only thing that matters to me is how these Republicans vote.

There are three of them that have signed their political death warrants with their votes. Let’s see how many want to join them. We are fighting for the survival of our country and our liberties. Who cares what they say to “Steffie” and all the other trash.

The only thing that matters is their votes and their policies. And I am keeping notes.

It didn't take long for the Spineless Jelly Brained GOP suits to start countering RUSH. The CPAC speech, in my mind, is the new pivot point for the future of Conservatism. Get on board or get run over.

This meme is part of the new McCarthyism liberals are spinning.

"Do you agree now or have you ever agreed with Rush Limbaugh?"

Just as they used to have Red Scares, now they are having a Rush Scare. Agreeing with "Rush" substitutes for being a "Communist" in this game.

It's a "divide and conquer" strategy to split the GOP over Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio. It's also part of the way liberals view the Right and conservatives, thinking the popularity of conservative talk radio is the cause of conservative opposition to liberals rather than a byproduct of that opposition. It demonstrates the confusion of liberals about conservatives and American culture. Limbaugh didn't invent the idea that excessive taxation and Big Government are bad. Cart before the horse mistake. It would hurt your head to get inside the mind of the Carville-Begala-Stephanopolous "get Rush" monster, there's so much confusion, sophistry, and deception to it - making Limbaugh the piñata. Some of the things they accuse Limbaugh of (presumably as being bad) are actually the U.S. Constitution and very basic constitutional principles.

On the other hand, it also demonstrates a vacuum in conservative leadership in the GOP. There isn't a main spokesman who has emerged as an effective leader for conservatives.

Keep it up, Cantor. You and your Rino friends are the reason that I have gotten off of my lazy ass, and I have become a delegate. Shove it, Eric.

I listened to it just now and I wasn’t impressed with the tone of his interview. He caved on the “not wanting obama to fail” issue both times. He had an opportunity to inform the MSM koolaide TV audience and he blew it big time. He could have told the audience about obama's attack against capitalism and against our economy with his signing one mega spending bill after another but he wimped out, he didn't do it.

We need conservative political leaders who are courageous, ones not afraid to protect Americans, like our founding fathers did for us. I've had enough of the wimps who give in to the other side.

If he doesn’t take advantage to get the word out on a large public TV show then he has failed the conservative cause just as the other republicans have. The era of Ronald Reagan is not dead. Cantor’s interview comments is nowhere near what I heard from Rush Limbaugh on Saturday. Am I angry about obama's attack on us? You're damn right I am.

Another spineless pussy w/media access and Ø loyalty to its constituents.

Same thing's prolly already been said 100x on the thread, but I just found it and it bears repeating.

How can the few actual men left in DC not suffer daily nausea surrounded by neutered sissies ?
