Well that’s just it then, Cantor is obviously a RINO because he gives a weak answer on one question in one issue! Who gives a flip about his actual, uh, voting record. I’m never voting for any Republican again!!!!!! Waaaaaaah!
Ten to one says you'd have turned into a pile of Jello in that interview. It's a shame. Maybe then we could make fun of you as a RINO.
Oh, we recognize it all right, it is called being chicken sh**, ,or cowardly if you will. You stand for the principles of the people who elected you, and those were conservatives. This guy is just plain cowardly. Is it too hard for YOU to recognize the distinction between standing for your convictions and that of being a coward in order to try to win elections?
Very impressive record.
LOL As if I give a damn whether or not anybody cares what I think!
That's fine, because we don't.
The weak hands in the Republican party need to be cast aside. You either stand for something or you fall for anything.
Cantor made his philosophy clear. When asked if he agreed with Rush’s wish that Obama’s plans to the USA a Socialist state, Cantor said “Absolutlely Not”.
So, Cantor wishes that Obama’s massive new taxes, government $4 trillion debt, universal healthcare, universal cradle to grave big government entitlements are ‘successful’.
That’s not what a Republican believes.
I would have said “Damn Tooting. I hope Obama Fails because it means the end of the United States.”
Well said.

I think this is true to some extent - Rush seemed to think it was better not to support anybody and to simply let it play out. What you had was power on one side (McCain, supported by the RINO establishment), money on another (Romney, a RINO but not the one chosen by the establishment), and then all the rest of them (Huckabee, Hunter, etc), who were obviously of no interest to the RNC. I think he should have picked somebody from that group or possibly even spotlighted somebody different. But he didn't, and instead went into this ridiculous "Operation Chaos" stuff.
Maybe he's trying to make up for this now. In any case, I think his message was right on target. We have to know our positions, be confident in them, be positive, and not let ourselves be intimidated. We have lots and lots of good people emerging - Jindal, Palin, DeMint, Sanford, etc. - and we will have leaders if the base coalesces
Speak for yourself; drop the "we".
Alright, I'll limit myself to speaking for the smart people only.
That is RNC Chairman Steele and now Representative Cantor(R) that have panned the Limbaugh speech at CPAC. Good weekend for Obama as GOP circular firing squad assembles!
Yeah, you can’t look at Cantor’s voting record and call the man a RINO — he’s the real deal.
The problem is Cantor is very smart, and a bit too intellectual. My senator, Cornin, is like that.
They both talk theoretically, and the media takes little clips and bits, and make them look mealy, when they are really stout.
Cantor does need to learn he is dealing with evil people.
Yeah, but how will the base coalesce if half of it sits and home and picks its nose because of the 5% of the things it doesn't like about the GOP?
For a person who doesn’t care what I think, you sure post a lot of responses to my messages.
I think you’d better get permission first. I’m not sure they’d be happy to know that you’re speaking for them.
Regardless if you are right or wrong, you are one major pompous ass. Is it possible for you to show respect for your fellow FReepers, even when you disagree with them?
It's alright with me. LOL! I kid, I kid. :)
