Windoze Mobile is a dying platform IMHO. Many new devices are hitting the market with the Linux-based Android system OS, and this along with the iphone's continued success, no doubt makes Balmer nervous, as he should be.
Here is the solution, Steve: just build better products.

Many new devices are hitting the market with the Linux-based Android system OS Seriously, there is only one (1) Android product on the market currently, and one (1) more being released now in Europe. Despite the endless hype so far the Android product has been a disaster for Google.

Most of Apple's ventures make money. For MS, everything except Windows, Office and sorta XBOX loses money, and a lot of it.
Market share for OS isn't a true measure of success comparison. Also, everybody knows MS keeps a close watch on other companies. They clone EVERYTHING.
