because US did not stop nation building in Iraq and Afganistan in early 2005. Can a conservative be stupid enough not to understand this trivial matter?

Could you really be that stupid, or did you just forget the sarcasm tag?

Conservatives lost because there were no Conservatives to vote for.

Just K street liberal lite trash.

Exactly. The Republicans depend on us voting AGAINST the other guy. That way, they can act just like democrats and still survive.
It didn't work for them this time. It won't work for them next time, either.

RE :”Conservatives lost because there were no Conservatives to vote for

That was a serious problem but you really believe that's the ONLY problem? Ronald Reagan would have had trouble winning an election last year. The R party racked up many disasters and the Iraq invasion was one of the biggest (USA) political disasters that would not go away. GWB lost the political war at home on Iraq probably in 2003 before the invasion. His strategy on dropping polls was to buy love with borrowed money.

Calling freepers you disagree with ‘stupid’ as a rhetorical question is poor taste.

Conservatives lost... It seems reasonable to re-read both the article and my comment: article is talking about GOP loss and the author considers himself conservative.
