I don’t see any of the current GOP crop as up to the task:
Romney: closet liberal with nice hair
Huckabee: Learned at the feet of Clinton, nuff said
Jindal: Mr. Rogers
Palin: Hot mama but not much else
Boehner: Let’s Make a Deal
McCain:Capt Queeg was less nuts
I could go on but I think you get the idea

Which is why I think we need to change direction and quickly.
No elected official, or anyone on your list is going to stand up because they want to get reelected or elected again.
The next real conservative leader must no care if they ever get elected to anything.
I get the idea. No human is perfect so lets pick apart our best leaders so Obama has 8 years instead of 4.
If Jindhal was appointed President tomorrow it would be the salvation of American civilization. He is that much better than Obama.
By 2012, Jindhal will have more governing experience than GWB, Obama, Reagan or Carter. Conservative, competent, capable.
He would make a great nominee.
