" It's grotesque to see the worshipful treatment Obama is getting."

What they need to understand is that when people don't believe in anything they are ready to believe in... anything. It's ALL about the Obama messiah cult. You have to study WHY people are in this spiritual condition to offer worship of such a weirdo. It's a little like in the 1960s when people on drugs sought out Eastern gurus to submit themselves to. They are bewildered and looking for simple answers. Many from broken, single-parent families. For whatever reason, the Obamarishi provides an authoritarian cult for them. He is also willing to play the part. It's two things coming together. A grandiose, delusional figure with narcissistic personality disorder and dreams of control linking up with confused, submissive people with self-esteem issues ready to be followers. They meet where the magical thinking of Socialism brings them together in power politics at a time of economic insecurity following an unpopular war in a national movement of messianic cult hysteria. It's a little scary.

Perhaps the folks looking into his birth certificate will prove that he isn't Constitutionally qualified to be the Prez and all the crap he has signed into law against us will be undone. Otherwise, we have to wait until 2010 for any hope of reigning him and his socialist BIG spending ways in before he turns us into the United Communes of Amerika.

Perhaps instead of protest rallies, the local GOP clubs should be hosting GOP teaparties to take a VETO PROOF MAJORITY in the house and senate in 2010.

Nailed It!

This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for the perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author all 100% to feel the need to share an article.)

I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of the good stuff that is worthy of attention.

You are welcome to browse the list of truly exceptional articles I pinged to lately. Updated on February 10, 2009.  on  my page.
You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about).

Besides this one, I keep 2 separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson and Orson Scott Card.

7) The Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner, is a tax cheat. Let me repeat that: Timothy Geithner, the guy who is the head honcho of the IRS, is a tax cheat. One more time, Tim Geithner, the guy who will be in charge when the Obama administration institutes what will probably be the single largest tax increase in American history, later in Obama's first term, is a tax cheat.

And for reasons no one understands ( yeah, right) congressional dems don't seem to care that he's a tax cheat. When Dashel was asked - he just smiled. Same with Rangle. Same with Hastings. Same with the rest of them... Why don't dems seem to care? Anyone?

RE “Why don’t dems seem to care? Anyone?”

Obama supporter : “I am more concerned with getting my tax rebate check and the hopeful words I will hear tonight. Obama is going to fix everything in america and balance the budget.”

Seriously though, I understand people want hope but Obama just tells people what they want to hear and in many cases does exactly the opposite, ala Clinton 1990s. It worked then.

Saw this on a magazine this week: ‘George Bush drove the economy into the ground!’ And on the cover of another wretched Liberal magazine: ‘Obama — the President the world has been waiting for!’ Absolutely disgusting. The MSM will cover this man’s rear end no matter what. Today we learn that he has a 64 per cent approval rating. Son of a gun. Who did they poll? Acorn?

I like it, but isn’t the following more correct:

“FUBHO”

Gotta keep that “H” in there; he said so at the inauguration, and on TV to the Arabs.

I hate that “fist bump” stuff. It just emphasizes the thug quality of everybody around Barry. On top of that, it’s so phoney - I doubt that Barry was doing the fist-bump in the exclusive private schools he attended when he was half-white in Hawaii. Now that he’s become a brudda, of course, he’s got to live down to the image. ___________ It's a *hood* thing Photobucket
