Yes, but those types have few weapons, no training, and no conviction. They will be easily beaten down.

I don't see your connection. Koresh was facing the government, not a bunch of whiny assed libs.

Now, if we're talking about the people vs. the military, then we have a problem.

Also, the scenarios are different. We are talking mass revolt, not one loon "prophet" and his followers.

If two or three other groups like the Davidians had gotten torched in the weeks prior to the attack on the Davidians, the ATF crew would have had to either show up with tanks, a profoundly bad PR move, or they would have had their heads handed to them on platters as soon as they pulled off the highway.
